If you had met me when I was still in school, you probably would have a hard time believing that I've become an artist.  Although I have always had a creative side, it was a part of my personality that I kept hidden from all but the closest people to me.  It's not that I didn't value my creativity, but I was more concerned with trying to impress others with my academic achievements than my artistic abilities.

It wasn't until I became a mother that my creative side began to kick in.  I spent the early years of my marriage as a military spouse, and as such, I decided to homeschool my three children to maintain a sense of consistency in their lives.  My role as a teacher and mother often required thinking out of the box.....not to mention being quick on my toes!

Eventually, the artistic side of my brain took over and not only expressed itself in my children's curriculum but also in home decorating and making things for my family.  But it wasn't until I stumbled upon jewelry design, that everything clicked.  Now, I can't imagine my life without it.

My designs are a true expression of who I am.  If someone wants to get to know me, they need not look further than my jewelry.  Hopes, dreams, memories, and my favorite things are all right there.  Each piece holds a little part of me and my heart.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
